Saturday was a day set aside for packing for the big move...boring! So, we decided to pack up and go to the beach instead with our friends, the Hatches. Actually, we did move our move date into the middle of July so it's not too bad.
Well, the kids had a BALL! Both of the took to the beach like ducks to water...didn't care about the breeze and dived into those waves headfirst!
I love the energy at the beach...they both ran and ran. Caleb got bowled over by wave after wave and he just got up and kept heading out! They played for hours and made sandcastles, had snacks and Caleb loved throwing the rugby ball around...even though it was almost as big as him!
The water was actually not that cold and it was a beautiful day. There was a breeze but that's pretty much guarenteed on an Oregon beach. It was nice because we could just drive up onto this beach and so the truck provided a little shelter from the wind too.
