family pictures and your opinions needed!

well, i finally got around to do our family pictures and with the help of my mom so that i could actually be in them, and a LOT of bribery...i was pretty happy with the way that they turned out.  now, i am just trying to decide which ones are going up on my walls...and that's where you come in!  you see, i have 3 large canvases in my family room that sit above my large sectional and i love them.....but baby adam is not in them and it is our main family gathering place and i really miss him being up there.  so while i can't afford to do more gallery wraps right now, i am going to do three large framed prints in their places...i am talking like 20x30 inches large.  i still love the grouping of three but i am having a hard time picking which 3 i want to put up...i love having a mixture of posed and candid.  this one below is my favorite and i think will go up for sure....
Option 1
here are the other options...
Option 2

Option 3

i really love this one of the kids and i am seriously considering doing it as one of the three...
Option 4
Option 5
the kids will have their own frames...

can you believe my baby is 10 months?  he is delightful and naughty....i love him.

i would love to hear your opinions...i am ordering in the next day or so.

the force

this month, we got to celebrate joshie. after much, much anticipation, he finally turned four and all is well in the world now.  he is such a special boy and i am so grateful to have him in our family.  i have to admit, that right now he is one of those phases when i either want to squeeze his guts out or go through the ceiling with frustration.  he is VERY attached to me both emotionally and physically....he HAS to touch my neck constantly which drives me crazy.  BUT he brings such joy, fun and humor into my life.  he makes me laugh and smile everyday and has such a gift for difusing situations.

he recently started preschool and loves it even though i have to usually work a little to get him out the door. he loves his friends and miss leigh and i am happy to have him enjoying his time away from home and away from me.  it keeps us both a little more sane:)

josh is obsessed with star wars thanks to his older brother and wanted a star wars party...we just threw one at home and he loved every minute of it.  he is the proof...

my favorite of our birthday traditions that all of our children look forward to....they get to eat birthday breakfast in "dad's seat" at the head of the table and enjoy their beverage of choice from a wine glass...caleb came up with this ritual a few years ago and it has stuck:)  josh's breakfast of choice: waffles with ice cream and syrup....

not to be missed out on by the baby...

the kids insisted on being in full character for the day...

joined by other helpers....

the anticipation is the best part....

joshua wouldn't hear of me making him a cake....he had been eyeing this at sam's club for an entire year so for $10.95, i was off the hook.

glow light sabers for party favors....thank target dollar section....
the hit was a special visit from darth vader....

he was slightly outnumbered...

but the force prevails....

these boys were so much fun and really well behaved!  it was a fun day! happy birthday my joshie!  hope that it's a great year for you!

Baby's Day Out

adam got enjoy a little adventure...the youth at church did a really fun activity called, "where's waldo" where they have to find different people in the ward who are in disguise at the mall.  sister cathy ray asked if she could borrow adam for for the evening (her kids are all bigger) and she dressed up and we dressed adam as a little girl. he was stinking cute as a little girl much to my surprise....there is one picture to record it...hopefully it won't do too much emotional damage to him as he grows older:)
haha....it gave us a good laugh, anyway.
