matthews family reunion

we enjoyed a week up near park city, utah at jordanelle state park enjoying our usual camp sites and views and company but something was different this year....we got to have grandma here.  she has been visiting all her children and grandchildren in the US over the past couple of months.  i hadn't seen her in over 9 years!!!! that's terrible and i can't tell you how good it felt to hug her and FINALLY introduce her to my little ones that i have been wanting her to know and them to know her for so long!  we get to have her for the month of august so you will be seeing more.

the family reunion was well attended this year for obvious reasons and it was loverly to sit down with my cousins and aunts and uncles watch our littles play together and chat. our family reunions aren't really planned out with tons of activities.  we just love to visit.  we swim, water ski, go tubing, and enjoy delicious meals.  our evening are roasting marshmallows and singing to the guitar.
