my joshie is growing so big and it makes me both beam with pride and want to cry that my baby is not baby anymore. yesterday, we finally got rid of all the bottles to change to an exclusively sippy-cup lifestyle. eric protested the most...not being able to let go of his baby either. this morning, he crawled on top of me in his customary fashion but instead on his usually slobbery, open mouth kisses all over my face, he gave me a sweet, puckered closed-mouth kiss on the lips. it made me giggle and so he did it over and over again. it was very sweet but i am going to miss my baby.
he has also started saying an array of words....many of which i haven't heard from the older two until they were a little older. his words of fitting for a third child i suppose who so desperately wants to be a part of all the action....some of his favorites are...
"meewee" (maryn) - the love of his life beyond his momma
"alab" (caleb) - his wrestling partner
"teers" (cheers!) - his obsession at any meal is to do "cheers" with everybody over and over again. it's become a tradition.
"cool"
"me too" - this is very popular and if anybody ever says the words, "would anybody like...." he is the first to burst into the room shouting "MMMMEEEEEEEE!"
"ni-night" and "bye" to maryn leaving for school
and all day long he is preparing to go somewhere and heading for the door saying "let's goOOOOOO!!!"
besides these more common words, he still talks all-day long. i'm getting quite good at disiphering his jabber because his really is trying to tell me something most of the time, just doesn't know the words yet. what he does know, he says really clearly....which is new to me because caleb has been so hard to understand. it surprise me when a perfectly formed words comes out of such a little mouth.
and besides anything else, he's utterly gorgeous.
