love that smile.......    and the trying not to smile......   and blowing out....

my baby just turned 3 and it's hard to believe!  his  birth marks not only his age but big changes that our family faced and it's good to look back and know that we survived and are still making it:)  joshie has been a joy in our lives since he entered it.  he is so full of life and enthusiasm.  he has a great imagination and loves to play and pretend.  he can also throw a pretty decent tantrum and gets his way more often than he should...(this is part of the 'i'll be a better mom after the baby comes technique' which is in full swing around here).  as you can see, his one request for his birthday was blue cupcakes and a blue present and a green present.  i like those requests.  despite his simple requests, he was thoroughly spoiled.  other joshie news is that he is finally potty trained and doing very well.  he has been really funny about the whole thing but when we leveled  with him on his own terms, he was a rockstar at it.  one thing is for sure: he is an adored little man!!!
