picking battles....
miss maryn is generally the easiest child but in the last few months, the issue became HAIR. she did not want to brush it, tie it up or anything and every morning that was the number one battle i've had to face with her. i decided it just wasn't worth it and suggested we cut her hair. she was thrilled at the prospect....especially going to visit aunty emma at her salon and get "the treatment" complete with sparkles to finish the new do. so today was the much anticipated day and she is very confident about her decisions despite the five inches of golden hair falling to the ground--she had made up her mind. and is pleased as punch with herself and looks completely adorable.....

GORGEOUS! But dang - she looks like she just aged 3 years. Boo!
I wish Emmie would let us cut her hair! She is the exact opposite if Maryn, she loves elaborate hair styles and it's such a pain to do every day!
