some things that i am so enjoying right now.....
most mornings i wake up to his has approxiamately 1.25 inches from mine and cheerful eyes with a version of "goo-mor-ning mom!" and then a good pucker and a smacker on the lips or sometimes my nose.
i love his trying not to smile face. i really gets me every time.
i love his "helping" when i teach piano.
i love the eyes he makes at me all day long. he has had the ability to read and respond to facial expressions since he was a teeny-tiny baby. it never ceases to amaze how we can communicate (and tease through very slight changes in facial expressions).
he loves to be around family. he adores his grandma's and grandpa's, aunts and uncles and cousins. he can't get enough of them.
he is a talker. is says some amazing things and is talking beautifully. i love the way he says his name and talks about himself in the third person.

a few things we are working on....
this kid can throw a tantrum like i've never dealt with before....and he's not even two yet. it involves kicking, screaming, hurting or throwing anyone/thing that is close to him and then hitting his own head on the closest object....crying at me like i did it to him....relatively long recovery period. yikes!
he is very protective of me and jealous of anyone who wants any part of me. he is very put out if the other children sit on my lap or want to be close to me. he doesn't lose it when i hold other babies but you can see he is very weary of the fact and keeps a close eye on me:)

["moooom! watch out! i going to spray you!"]
but overall, he is a pretty easy little chappie and i enjoy his company immensely!
