this week, i had the very weird experience of registering my little sweets (my oldest) for kindergarten. i showed up half an hour early (in hopes of getting into the morning class) and got into line that extended all the way down the hall. as i panned around, i started wondering if i were in the long line. i saw MAYBE two other parents there under the age of 40. that was it. what? i was thinking i'd be surrounded by young moms excited about the school experience, and instead was confronted with people at least old enough to be my mother!!!! i have stopped feeling sorry for my parents who had "the surprise" baby at age 40 and instead realized that i am the odd one out here. my parents fit in perfectly!!!
anyway, that was strange. but i am so excited (and overwhelmed) at the thought of maryn starting school. i am excited because i know she will LOVE it! i already have her little supply list and although it is still 7 months before her school year starts, it is taking all my self control not to go out and buy everything on the list right now! i love school supplies. but i know that smart thing to do is wait. things will be on sale later. yes, waiting is the best idea. maybe we can just start picking out what color backpack she might want.....and then she'll still have time to change her mind before school starts. okay.

SOOO exciting! I can't wait to take Jenna down to register--we are a long time away from that though--yours was EARLY!!!
I can not believe Maryn is going to be in kindergarten next year. Man how time flies. It feels like just yesterday you were pregnant with her. Since that was the last time I saw you guys that's how you stay in my mind. We really need to find a way to get together with you guys again.
